'The best views in Southport' - thanks to a £15m hotel transformation.

Ben Carter Electrical Contracting Services is proud to be working on the ongoing transformation of the new Bliss hotel in Southport, recently featured on Lancashire Live.

The Lancs Live team were recently given a sneak peak at progress being made at the Bliss Hotel, which used to be the Ramada, as the new owners carry out extensive refurbishments and improvements throughout.

There are widespread changes taking places throughout the hotel, including ‘modernising’ the food offering and creating a new ‘Blissonik’ brand to overhaul the entertainment.

There have also been changes to the bedrooms on the top floor, which have been knocked through to create two luxurious penthouses, complementing the work started last year to upgrade all the old Ramada rooms to new Bliss and Superior Bliss doubles.

Ben Carter Electrical Contracting Services have carried out all the electrical work on these new penthouses.

Previously used as four bedrooms, they have been knocked through to create two rooms simply called ‘The Penthouse’ and ‘The Other Penthouse’, each designed differently and available from August this year.

Daniel Broch (Owner) “these will be the best rooms on the North West coast”.

For the first time since being built back in early 2000s, the hotel, the Waterfront, the theatre and the convention centre are now all being run by the same people, meaning the whole complex can now operate as a single enterprise.

This also means that the vacant units overlooking the Marine Lake could soon be brought to use, with Bliss having an ambitious list of projects lined up to fill those spaces.

Being situated where it is, Bliss instantly appeals to people from Liverpool and Manchester, and being able to boast Southports seafront attractions, the hotel is set to stand out from its competitors.

A launch party event for the 3,000sqft Roof Garden and all new Bliss Kitchen is being held from 7pm on Friday, July 19. All are welcome.
